Lead author Aniruddh Mohan and colleagues wanted to develop a method that evaluated the life-cycle costs and benefits for two battery-powered ridesource fleets and a gasoline-powered one.

Electric power consumption combined in the WLTP test cycle is 19.5 – 18.5 The BMW X3 is the first model to be available with a gasoline or diesel engine, plug-in hybrid drive system or all-electric drive system.
