It will be the first purely electrically powered production vehicle from the Kecskemét plant in Hungary. The new Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ is equipped with a 400-volt battery using the optimized active material with nickel, cobalt and manganese in a ratio of 8:1:1. The vehicles for China are produced in Beijing.

Audi farms dual motors for the Q6 E-Tron in Hungary, rated at 140 kw in front and 250 kw in the rear. Where possible on lower-output chargers, the Q6’s 800-volt system can separate its pack into twin 400-volt virtual packs; the car will bring both to the same state of charge first, then charge the banks in parallel at up to 135 kw.
