I flew to New Jersey and San Diego to pick up both of my Tesla. A friend of mine from Louisiana who is also active in the Tesla Twitter community, Price Sicard, had to fly to New Jersey to pick up his Tesla. “I paid sales tax on the Tesla in California and Louisiana. But I did pay more in taxes.”
