A disappointing compliance car, the Ford Focus EV, languished while plug-in hybrid versions of the midsize Fusion and small crossover C-Max sold relatively well, until Ford came up with a real plan.

This is in part due to the collapse of the Italian and French markets, on which small cars are heavily reliant for sales—in 2019, 38% of A and B segment registrations in Europe occurred in Italy and France. Indeed, the BEV figures were only 10,000 units less than the hybrids. Some models performed better than others.

Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid, which is expected to sell for $40,000 when it goes on sales in the U.S. Prius hybrid. Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co. and Chery Automobile Co.

These numbers above exclude all the existing hybrid electric and other alternative fuel models available or in the works, which number at least another 265 models. As a comparison , in 2011, there were only two battery electric and 29 hybrid electric vehicle models offered for sale in the US.

BMW Group sales of electrified vehicles in September topped the 10,000 mark for the first time in a single month; a total of 10,786 (+50.5%) BMW i, BMW iPerformance and MINI Electric vehicles were delivered in September, bringing the year-to-date total to 68,687 (+64.2%). of total sales.

I wish the thing was for sale as-is. I really would love to get a 120D coupe BMW u cant beat 0-60 of 7.5 Well they did give brief bursts of acceleration through the parking lot to show that it does have some Roadster goodness to it. But yes, there was no slalom to see how it handles the twisties. and 49 mpg.
