The Hummer EV has a sky-high price tag and wait times that extend to two years for some people. The 3X trim adds range but leaves the Hummer’s impressive electric powertrain alone. More range is a fantastic thing for the Hummer EV because its abysmal MPGe ratings make it one of the least efficient electric vehicles on sale.

EV prices haven’t fallen as promised, battery mining turned out to be rather contentious, and the vehicles themselves continue getting heavier — resulting in some record-setting curb weights that are likely serving to undermine roadway health and automotive safety.
