It also features wave winding technology, an innovation that makes installation less complex and increases power density. The start of production is scheduled for 2024.

Thirty-two years later, our laptops are powered by much, much lighter lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries. Batteries have gotten a whole lot better, but they have not gotten Moore's-Law better.
