The concept behind V2G had gained traction in the late 1990s after California’s landmark zero-emission-vehicle (ZEV) mandate went into effect and compelled automakers to commercialize electric cars. And with the revival of the EV, the V2G concept was reborn. The experiment seemed to prove the feasibility of the technology.
