Tesla’s Gigafactory Nevada has achieved an incredible milestone. A picture of Gigafactory Nevada’s 1,000,000th battery was posted on the r/TeslaMotors subreddit. The special occasion was commemorated by the Giga Nevada team, with the battery pack being signed by numerous employees.

Amazon’s self-driving car unit, Zoox, is seeking to stay abreast of rival Waymo by expanding its vehicles’ testing in California and Nevada to include a wider area, higher speeds and nighttime driving. It also expanded the Las Vegas area in which the cars can travel to five miles from one mile, it said in a statement.

As such, Austin, Texas, and Sparks, Nevada, are receiving the lowest pay in Tesla’s new payment scheme. Meanwhile, Tesla workers in Fremont and Palo Alto, California, receive the highest pay.
