A report from the Arizona Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) found that switching to electric fleets could save $14 million in pollution-related expenses over the lifetime of the municipal vehicles—and that’s just in Arizona. Additionally, vehicle pollution is one of the largest contributors to climate change.

You pay your taxes on-line. You pay your corporate taxes on-line. Why don’t you look at your bill and see the Nuclear Decommissioning taxes on your electric bill. Some generator is burning coal out there in Arizona. I’m not asking them for money, I’m asking them to change a rule. Move big amounts of money around.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance launched a pilot project in Arizona earlier this month to test out a charging network ahead of the planned 2010 launch of its electric vehicle. Elon Musk is going to get about $5 of my hard earned money based on my fair share of taxes. The price goes up with demand and usage. I’m depressed.
