Bio-jet fuel is becoming increasingly important in aviation and the energy market. It will help aviation grow sustainably and demand for fuel increase. Sinopec has developed its own technology for producing aviation fuel from biomass and waste oil and has already produced aviation fuel meeting international standards.

The Energy Department also announced today that three new corporate partners—AMP Americas, Kwik Trip and Waste Management—are joining the National Clean Fleets Partnership, a broad public-private partnership that assists the nation’s largest fleet operators in reducing the amount of gasoline and diesel they use nationwide.

Alternative LNG drive systems for ships reduce air pollutant emissions significantly—CO 2 by up to 25% and NO x by up to 30%, particulate matter by up to 60% and SO x by as much as 100%.
