After completion of five-cycle testing, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has rated the battery-electric Nissan LEAF with an mpg-equivalent rating of 106 city, 92 highway for a combined 99 mpge. Volvo Trucks North America, after concluding truck and engine lab testing, has approved the use of renewable diesel fuel for all of its proprietary Volvo engines, offering environmental and cost-savings benefits to customers. Volvo is the first OEM to endorse the use of advanced drop-in hydrocarbon renewable diesel fuel.
