Porsche is planning to set up its own fast-charging stations offering a premium charging experience along Europe’s most important routes. As a pilot site, the first Porsche Charging Lounge has opened outside Bingen am Rhein. By the start of next year, 400 kW per charging point should be possible.

Codenamed K1, the new EV will be based on the SSP Sport architecture being developed by Porsche for the Volkswagen Group and arrive as soon as 2027.
