Every year during the 4th of July weekend, Plug In America supporters take a stroll around their neighborhoods to count how many all-electric and plug-in hybrids they can spot. All-electric vehicles made up 3.82% and plug-in hybrids made up 2.29%. . Back in 2019, supporters reported 4.14%, and in 2020 they reported 5.30%. .
