NTSB issues preliminary report on fatal Tesla crash in Mountain View

According to performance data downloaded from the crash vehicle, a 2017 Tesla Model X P100D, the driver was using traffic-aware cruise control and autosteer lane-keeping assistance, which are advanced driver assistance features that Tesla refers to as autopilot. The speed limit for the roadway is 65 mph.

EPA fuel economy report finds weight and power leveling off, footprint stable

Ford delays next-gen electric truck and SUV, plans hybrids across lineup

Univ. of Utah study finds many infotainment systems too distracting to be used when vehicle in motion
