Last week, as part of the little known and unadvertised “Bolt Buyback” program GM quietly created in response to the recall of all their 2017- 2019 Bolts, Chevy paid $37,900 to buy this car back from us.

Centrica closed the vast Rough storage facility in 2017 prompting concerns about gas pricing. We also need more Grid to Car and Car to Grid interconnect. In our wisdom we decides to rely on the open market to solve supply issues and reduced our gas reserves from around 40% of annual consumption to less than 2%. Who is in charge?

These should diminish as more and more of the grid uses power from renewable sources, such as solar and wind, and as the manufacturers themselves use green energy—some, including GM, already do.
