Cadillac demonstrates V2I capability with traffic siginals

GM China sales top 4M vehicles for the first time in 2017; SUV sales up 37%

General Motors and its joint ventures sold more than 4 million vehicles in China for the first time in 2017. The company benefited from record domestic sales by the Cadillac, Buick and Baojun brands. In 2017, GM added 18 new and refreshed models in China. Its sales for 2017 as a whole were up 4.2% turbocharged engines.

Buick debuts V2X technology in China; first V2X vehicle to roll out by year end

Later this year, Buick will become the first brand in China officially to roll out the market-ready technology on a production vehicle, a Buick GL8. In August at Tech Day in Shanghai, GM announced that in 2022, 5G will be available on all new Cadillac models and most Chevrolet and Buick vehicles going forward.
