Denmark, Norway, and US to lead Zero-Emission Shipping Mission

The governments of Denmark, Norway, and the United States, along with the Global Maritime Forum and the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, will lead a new Zero-Emission Shipping Mission as part of Mission Innovation. Mission Innovation was announced at COP21 in November 2015.

Biorefinery for sustainable marine fuel to be built in Denmark

New cars in Europe in 2013 collectively met 2015 CO2 target two years ahead of the deadline

2015 target: 130 g CO 2 /km. The average CO 2 emissions level of a new car sold in 2013 was 127 g CO 2 /km; the target for 2015 was 130 g/km. European truck manufacturers call for action to prevent aftermarket manipulation of NOx emissions controls

Global CO2 emissions stalled for the third year in a row
