Denmark, Norway, and US to lead Zero-Emission Shipping Mission

The governments of Denmark, Norway, and the United States, along with the Global Maritime Forum and the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, will lead a new Zero-Emission Shipping Mission as part of Mission Innovation. Mission Innovation was announced at COP21 in November 2015.

H2 Logic and Air Liquide to build network of hydrogen refueling stations in Denmark

This will make Denmark will be the world’s first country where hydrogen fueling is available nationwide and based 100% on renewable energy. During 2015 Danish national plans call for five additional hydrogen stations; this will ensure that more than 50% of the population will be less than 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from a station.

Hyundai begins limited production of ix35 Fuel Cell vehicle for fleet use; 1,000 planned by 2015

That ix35 Fuel Cell will be one of 17 destined for fleet customers in the City of Copenhagen, Denmark and Skåne, Sweden. After 2015, with lowered vehicle production costs and further developed hydrogen infrastructure, Hyundai will begin manufacturing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles for consumer retail sales. New cars in Europe in 2013 collectively met 2015 CO2 target two years ahead of the deadline

2015 target: 130 g CO 2 /km. The average CO 2 emissions level of a new car sold in 2013 was 127 g CO 2 /km; the target for 2015 was 130 g/km.
