A new government initiative announced yesterday by President Barack Obama will see all US federal vehicle purchases powered by alternative fuel by 2015. The plan is part of a goal to cut oil imports to the US by one-third over 10 years, according to The Federal Times.

From 2010-2015, there was a lot of action in the hatchback space. And we have already talked about the need for multiple technologies, and this will require getting into other forms of alternate fuels. Those are absolutely renewable, absolutely clean, and carbon-negative fuels.
