In a briefing in Tokyo last week, Honda Motor outlined its direction of technology development toward its 2030 Vision. The Honda-developed electric motors use magnets containing no heavy rare-earth metals. Honda will introduce its BEV Architecture which will enable the sharing of the basic framework for its vehicles.

The Honda Clarity Fuel Cell sedan ( earlier post ) made its North American debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show as Honda announced additional details for the vehicle’s entry into the US market. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are a zero emissions technology that Honda believes in, and has worked to advance for more than 20 years.
