For years now, inventors and sellers of electric car conversion kits have been blasting traditional automakers for not providing the 100 m.p.g. Bright is planning to sell its IDEA to commercial businesses only.

People are scared that they’ll get stuck and have no way of charging the batteries, hey I have an idea why not build a wind turbine on the roof that way as you drive the turbine spins and charges the battery. Most have no idea. This Friday, June 12, I’ll be attending the EcoMotion Palm Desert AB 811 Conference specifically to cover it for this Creative Greenius blog. Previous Prius conversion kits have been limited by Toyota programming to a top speed of 34 mph in all-electric mode.

It would be a good idea to retrofit this in existing Nexon's. To jot down those will take an entirely new blog, but here’s a sample. One idea would be to cater to the commercial segment. Another idea that we discussed was using this for charging swappable batteries.

In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. First Escape PHEV delivered to SCE Nov 2007; 20 in 2008-2009. Beginning in 2005, we excerpted individual statements of intentions by carmakers, but by the start of 2008, the number of comments became too numerous for us to track. Batteries not ready.

If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. When most of America will be reluctant to buy a GM car because the company might go bankrupt how the hell did those in charge think bailing them out was a good idea?
