The stimulus package is designed to address the recession and in the short term people were anxiously awaiting two key components of the plan: clarification on the details behind “ grants in lieu of tax credits ” and awards of loan guarantees by the DOE from section 1705. Is tax equity dead? Cap and Trade Disappointment.

The ethanol industry would like to raise the amount to 15% or 20%, but they are facing strong resistance from automakers and small equipment manufacturers who believe 15% blends may damage the 97% plus engines on the market that weren't designed to run on anything more than 10% ethanol. gasoline would need to be greater than $2.80/gallon

I learned all bout this in Joe Romm’s great book, “Hell and High Water&# (c) 2007). And if there’s anything better than having a secret weapon to use against the biggest threat we face in the 21st century, it’s using the tax dollars of tea-baggers help pay for it. How powerful will that make you?

That’s why my Raise the Roof plan is designed to rapidly accelerate the installation of residential roof top solar by emulating the barn raisings of our ancestors, with neighbors helping neighbors get the jobs done, community by community. Seems like a perfect use for some stimulus money, don’t it?

The Three Prongs of the “Green&# Energy Stimulus Pa. The Smart Grid Consortium, established in December 2007 by Xcel Energy, will select a community of approximately 100,000 residents to become a Smart Grid City using V2G. The current electrical grid is poorly designed for distributed generation of power.
