Our neighborhood is called the “Hollywood Riviera&# because of its beautiful hillside homes with idyllic ocean views framed by palm trees. I’ve been blogging on the environment since October of 2007. Among other things our electric use has been cut by over 50% in the last year.

During that same period I also worked with members of the community to create the Hermosa Beach Carbon Neutral City initiative.
