Rolls-Royce Power Systems has outlined its road map for climate neutrality: Net Zero@Power Systems. The certification means that the new generation of Series 2000 and 4000 engines, that currently account for 85% of our sales revenues, will be qualified to run on second-generation bio-fuels and on E-fuels.

Rolls-Royce is focusing on methanol as a fuel for climate-friendly shipping; Rolls-Royce business unit Power Systems is currently developing mtu engines for use with methanol. With the new development of mtu methanol engines, we want to lead the way as pioneers in the marine industry.

And I’m careful about choosing these fights because they’re very exhausting. When I got back from Japan in 2000 I didn’t want to start a computer business.
