We welcome Bilfinger Westcon’s decision to join us as Bilfinger Westcon has been a key part of the development of the first greenfield refinery in the US since 1976.

The latest monthly update of estimated crude oil production in the Bakken region of North Dakota and Montana shows total wellhead output topping 1 million barrels of oil per day (bbl/d) next month. The update appears in the most recent issue of the US Energy Information Administration’s Drilling Productivity Report (DPR).

The US Geological Survey will update its 2008 estimate of undiscovered, technically recoverable oil and gas in the US portion of the Bakken Formation, an important domestic petroleum resource located in North Dakota and Montana. Drilling and production will continue while the USGS conducts its assessment update.
