A Porsche USA test has shown how the brand’s facelifted Taycan EV will remain one of the fastest, longest-range and quickest to charge EVs, with seriously flex-worthy numbers. Thanks to this new battery composition, the refreshed Taycan can now, in theory, withstand a 322kW charge.

While the past couple of years have been full of news about future plug-in electric vehicles arriving in 2010, BMW plans to leap frog ahead of all automakers on the electrification front by releasing 500 all electric plug-in MINIs at the end of 2008. The rechargeable battery is made up of 5,088 cells grouped into 48 modules.
