We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. With the coming solar feed-in tariff legislation moving through Sacramento that will pay us for the extra solar energy we produce and feed back into the grid.

The "Spirit" basically demonstrated an empty battery box with its contactors and wiring as well as on the outside the hydraulic lifts for access to the spare, the charger, the 110-volt inverter, and the solar panels.

Cheers EVADC'rs, PHEV'rs, and EVnthusastists, One & All - Still catching up per Green Festival (as of Sunday, 1 Nov 09) where EVADC did have a black Prius PHEV with a solar trailer for showing at the Teens Zone. And further demonstrated the Junior Solar Sprints kit at various occasions through out the weekend.

Jo has done an excellent job of "pimping" the ride, the original kit from Blue Sky Designs in Oregon. Meanwhile, back at the shop, the team gets ready for the cross country run on solar and electric power. Charlie is small enough to get behind the wheel, yes, wheel on this motorcycle. It also has floor brakes and accelerator.
