UF/IFAS researchers develop new sorghum cultivars that could produce up 10.5 kL ethanol per hectare

Researchers from the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) have found that three UF/IFAS-developed sorghum varieties could produce up to 10,500 liters of ethanol per hectare (about 1,100 gallons US per acre).
