Proterra Inc and Miami-Dade County announced a major fleet electrification project with the County acquiring 42 Proterra ZX5+ electric transit buses, featuring a total of 19 MWh of battery storage capacity, along with plans to install 75 Proterra chargers across three bus depots.

Electrify America LLC announced it will install more than 2,800 workplace and residential charging stations by June 2019 in 17 of the biggest metropolitan areas in the United States. The companies have committed to install 35% of all multi-family and workplace sites in California in designated low-income or disadvantaged community areas.

The Boring Company’s (TBC) unsolicited proposal to Fort Lauderdale for a Las Olas Loop was recently made public, revealing some more details about the Miami tunnel project. As per The Next Miami (TNM) , TBC proposed a tunnel system that would bring passengers from Fort Lauderdale to the beach in 3 minutes.
