According to its website, the LEED system gives points for certain building practices that address: carbon, energy, water, waste, transportation, materials, health, and. indoor environmental quality.

Everyone thought that was a great idea, and I went along. They aimed more smokestacks at us and dumped toxic waste in our neighborhoods while they paid off the cops and the justice system to get away with it. One way we’re going to do them in is by taxing and regulating them to death. That just ain’t right.

The Torrance Hillside Overlay district , covers most of the historic Hollywood Riviera neighborhood where the Creative Greenius lives and I can tell you that it’s a zoning law that is pure politics. Just two people live in its 3000+ energy-wasting square feet. It’s just this mind-blowing waste of time.

To ignore this potential is wasteful and foolish. has constructed prototype PHEV trucks for electric utility companies which can deliver energy to power an entire neighborhood during maintenance or repair when there is a power outage [ 4 ]. It is wasteful and destructive to be burning this versatile molecule; we must stop.

Alternatively, may we suggest the sound of the neighborhood ice cream truck? Nonetheless, I do agree that it wastes of energy, reduces range and should NOT be mandatory. We always seem to hear that one coming from a mile away. a cyclist is much quieter, and these cars do have horns still for people what step out in front.

Although charging infrastructure is beginning to find its way into cities, it may be awhile until they are available in residential neighborhoods en masse. Maybe you should ask some engineers at the local power utility before you go shooting your mouth off, decrying how the idea will never fly.
