Honda begins assembling Fit Hybrid in Thailand

Honda Motor has begun assembling and marketing the subcompact Fit Hybrid (Jass Hybrid) in Thailand. The hybrid is assembled at Honda’s plant in Ayutthaya, using core components from Japan. Planned sales volume in 10,000 units per year. Honda said it has sold about 150,000 units of the Fit and Jazz hybrid worldwide so far.

Nissan, Frost & Sullivan study finds 37% of Southeast Asian consumers open to buying EV

Along with the release of the study, Nissan announced that the new LEAF will go on sale in seven markets in Asia and Oceania during the next fiscal year: Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand.
