I ran out to Barnes and Noble today and picked up the March issue of Sports Car Market magazine. Federal tax law doesn't let me get a rebate from the feds because the car isn't a fully qualified conversion; however, I applied to the State of Oregon to get the state rebate of $750. Got that EV Grin again.) It's better than nothing.

Norway has offered strong incentives for motorists to switch to Electric Vehicles with strong tax incentives for electric vehicles. ICE vehicles are subject to a significant tax, and electric vehicles are exempt from that tax. And conventional hybrids make up less than 10% of new car sales anyway. Cliff edge.
