General Motors announced that Chevrolet Bolt EV production will last through March and will extend until early April. Owners were advised not to park near other cars , not to park indoors, and to limit their state of charge to 90 percent in some instances. Chevrolet Bolt EV owners may have trouble with parking after battery recalls.

An American green technology company has developed a hybrid Hummer capable of over 100mpg. Raser Technologies, the company behind the hybrid hummer, claims to have achieved the impossible by greening up one of the cars with the worse environmental record. The Hummer H3E is a plug-in electric vehicle with an onboard range extender.

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- General Motors Corp. (GM) Wagoner said GM is using the Saturn Vue hybrid sport utility vehicle to develop a plug-in hybrid, which can be re-charged from a standard electrical outlet, and will offer biofuel-capable Hummer SUVs.

Seres is the new name – and brand name, it seems — for the vehicles produced by SF Motors, which is a subsidiary of Sokon Industrial Group, a large privately-owned manufacturer in China. The EV maker opened an office in Santa Clara, CA, in Silicon Valley, in 2016 under the name SF Motors. More on Sokon later. market, says Taylor.
