Honda revealed the upcoming fuel-cell version of its Honda CR-V and, once again, it will only be available by lease in California. GMC Hummer EV The 2024 GMC Hummer EV is in the company of gas-guzzlers on the latest list of “meanest” vehicles for the environment.

Among electric vehicles from automakers that report specific sales numbers for their EV models, the Toyota RAV4 Prime PHEV was tops in the US in 2021 with 27,3707 units sold. Another top-selling EV beyond Tesla models that is not included is the Jeep Wrangler 4xe PHEV, which likely saw 2021 sales of between 20,000-25,000.

4, Hyundai IONIQ 5, Audi Q4 e-tron, Toyota RAV4 Prime PHEV, Ford Escape PHEV, and Lincoln Corsair PHEV have either become available or likely will be in 2021. The exteriors and interiors of the new EVs will be exclusively designed by Honda, while the GM platform wil be engineered to support Honda’s “driving character.”

GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. Honda has the Clarity models, initially a fuel cell electric that was expanded to include a plug-in hybrid, full electric and fuel cell electric. I’m hoping for the latter. It’s certainly the opposite of what Harley-Davidson is doing.
