The Toyota Motor Corporation will introduce 150 plug-in vehicles in the United States as well as more than 150 vehicles in Europe including 100 in France alone. The company is also considering introducing plug-in hybrid vehicles in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. Action plans will be developed over the summer.

Car maker, Toyota is set to lease over 150 units of its next generation Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (PHV) to selected fleet customers across Europe as part of a three-year programme. Alongside France, Toyota is in discussion with three European countries, including the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
