Participants will have access to Ford’s OpenXC connectivity research platform as a sandbox to create and test their ideas for the Personalized Fuel Efficiency Apps Challenge.

A person sitting in the Palo Alto laboratory can access real-time video streamed over existing 4G/LTE technology to drive golf carts thousands of miles away. In addition, Palo Alto-based engineers are expanding their research to develop sensor kits to gather information from bicycles and other common forms of transportation in urban areas.

EVs are a smart and efficient choice for personal transportation.

Little things adding personality. Only Peugeot knows why its sole ‘free’ colour is Fusion Orange, while you pay over a grand to colour it boring white. A BYD Atto 3 or MG4 are much cheaper for similar kit and similar EV drive experience. The rear lights are even better. But enough distractions.
