The good news about the list of EV and PHEV sales from last year is there were 86 models listed, though several were cars that have gone out of production (like my Chevy Volt) but still managed to have a few laggards left for sale. Tesla and GM both exceeded the state’s 200,000-unit sales cap on rebates.

A person named Sam Kazran, apparently the dealer’s GM at one point, leads the pack with 110 counts of failing to inspect a vehicle prior to it being offered for sale, though a person named Casey Ramsey is on the hook for a total of 81 counts ranging from failing to deliver a title to improper use of temporary markers.

Out of 82 BEVs and PHEVs that are either currently available for sale in the US, or expected to be so by the end of 2022, 67 of them, or 81.7%, have a base manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) higher than $39,999, according to new analysis from EVAdoption. Fifteen or 18.3% have a base MSRP below $40,000 and 31 or 37.8%

has fully embraced EVs and, after years of teasing with snazzy concepts, the real hardware is for sale–and is selling well. Chevrolet Bolt/Bolt EUV – Waiting for more GM EVs. Beating Tesla to the market with the Bolt was quite a coup, particularly with a car as well-executed as this EV is, but GM has been slow with its follow up.
