Baard said ORCF was developing plans to compress the CO 2 into liquid form and transport it to the neighboring oil fields in Eastern Ohio for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). EPA’s Heavy Duty “Phase 3” truck rule has been finalized, and surprisingly enough it comes in stronger (albeit slightly) than the rule that was originally proposed last year. The final rule has just come out, so there’s plenty to comb through, but the EPA went over some key points in a press call yesterday.

In a worst case scenario, Chu said, up to 90% of the Sierra Nevada snowpack could disappear, all but eliminating a natural storage system for water vital to agriculture as well as cities. One thing is for sure; - electric cars bring down the air pollution, but they sure create another waste pollution problem.
