Yanmar commercializing maritime hydrogen fuel cell system

MAN Engines puts first dual-fuel hydrogen-powered engines for workboats into operation

MAN Engines recently put its first two dual-fuel hydrogen-powered engines for work boats into serial operation. The engines are twelve-cylinder diesel engines of type MAN D2862 LE448, each with an output of 749 kW (1019 hp) at 2100 rpm. Only the hydrogen injection system (shown here in blue) has been retrofitted.

Wärtsilä gas engines to burn 100% hydrogen

HyMethShip seeks to fuel ship engines with hydrogen from methanol

The EU-funded HyMethShip project developed a system that innovatively combined a membrane reactor, a CO 2 capture system, a storage system for CO 2 and methanol as well as a hydrogen-fueled combustion engine to power ships.
