AUGUST 11, 2014
'Researchers have shown that magnesium industrial wastes of AZ91 alloy and Mg-10 wt.% Gd alloy can be used for the production of hydrogen storage materials. A paper on their work is published in the Journal of Power Sources. The team of researchers, from Germany, Denmark, Italy and Sweden, investigated the properties of the alloys by means of volumetric technique; in situ synchrotron radiation powder X-ray diffraction (SR-PXD); and calorimetric methods.
