Neste to invest €111M in liquefied waste plastic upgrading unit at Porvoo refinery

Neste has made the final investment decision to commence construction of upgrading facilities for liquefied plastic waste at its Porvoo refinery in Finland. With the investment of €111 million, Neste will build the capacity to upgrade 150,000 tons of liquefied waste plastic per year.

Eni and Hera Group partner on conversion of used vegetable oil to renewable diesel for waste collection vehicles

In Italy, Eni and Hera signed a partnership agreement with the aim of converting used vegetable oil into renewable diesel for Hera’s waste collection vehicles. The agreement revolves around household waste vegetable oil, such as that used for frying, collected by Hera in around 400 roadside containers and about 120 collection centres.

BASF investing €16M into tire pyrolysis oil company Pyrum as part of ChemCycling project
