At the production site for power electronics in Klasterec in the Czech Republic, ZF is opening its first zero- emission factory after a renovation period of just under a year and a half. Customers include international car manufacturers, the company said in a media release.

The SEAT Componentes plant has been awarded the Volkswagen Group’s new MQ281 gearbox, a 6-speed manual gearbox that will be equipped in vehicles manufactured with the MQB platform. SEAT Componentes will start to manufacture this gearbox in 2019 and annual production capacity is forecasted to reach 450,000 units for worldwide distribution.
