For our EV advocacy, which will benefit Indian cities and the Indian economy in the long run, we have received abuse and personal attacks. In the coming decade, battery prices will go down, whereas the cost of petrol will keep going up. They think EVs are just a new fad and will go away soon, and they want no part of it.

It would be a good idea to retrofit this in existing Nexon's. One idea would be to cater to the commercial segment. Another idea that we discussed was using this for charging swappable batteries. What I also loved was the single choice of speed - Economy. To get into P mode all you need to do is to press the central disc.

For on-the-go juice ups, the idea is to exchange your dead battery for a fresh one owned by Better Place. The thing that bothers me the most about Tesla is not the range or cost of driving an EV. It’s that Elon Musk might risk $350 million US taxpayer dollars on something that will end up costing consumers more money.

The idea is that when your car needs more energy, you can drive your car into a station and, like an automated car wash, your depleted battery is replaced robotically by one that has a full charge. Maybe you should ask some engineers at the local power utility before you go shooting your mouth off, decrying how the idea will never fly.
