One of our 2006 Prius’ pack needed servicing and it only cost a few hundred dollars to fix 7 modules and change the bus bars connecting the modules by a hybrid shop. Matt from Rhode Island reported no faults with the hybrid battery in his 2007 Prius that he bought new, now clocking 555k km (347k miles).

The sun gear is connected to MG1 (acting as the generator); the planet carrier is connected directly to the engine, and the ring gear is connected to the counter gear. VDC up to 650 volts DC. The on-board charging system accommodates single pulse DC 110/220 volt input, and is compliant to SAE J1772 standards.

The 2023 BZ4X has either one or two electric motors powered by a 355-volt lithium-ion battery.
