Two geoscience faculty members at The University of Montana (UM) have started a partnership with Blue Marble Biomaterials to produce commercial products from algal biomass. S4 Energy Solutions LLC , a joint venture by Waste Management, Inc. and InEnTec LLC, plans to develop a plasma gasification facility at Waste Management’s Columbia Ridge Landfill in Arlington, Oregon.
