We must act quickly as the planet is warming due to CO 2 production from burning fossil fuels. This means 900 fewer gallons of gasoline used!

But its monumentally less pollution , even on the national (half-coal) grid. DaimlerChrysler is using them in some of its prototype PHEV Sprinter commercial vans. At the moment, only 2004-2007 Priuses , and to a limited extent, the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner Hybrids. I love the idea of powering my car from solar power.
