A shitty obscure Chinese electric car. Dropping to just 3km range when Chinese EV refused to charge. I suggested to the Europcar lady that a mysterious Chinese EV with circa 300km range, no Euro NCAP safety rating or Apple CarPlay was not, in fact, similar to my beloved Kona Electric. All of this wastes time.

Researchers from the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, are proposing a novel concept of Li + /Na + mixed-ion electrolytes for rechargeable batteries for large-scale energy storage. Unlike wet chemical methods, it does not require any chemicals and generates zero waste for disposal.

What a waste. The BZ4X version resembles Toyota’s popular RAV4, and features a distinctive “yoke” in place of a traditional steering wheel, as well as a solar recharging system, which “cleverly recharges the battery while stationary.” I feel these companies just have a sunk cost bias.

More Recharging Detroit The future of the U.S. Batteries that go farther than the competitions and recharge in a shorter time will win. The business world hopes shes right. This does not bode well for U.S.
