The Saloon looks like a minivan concept from the early 1980s — boasting a wedge shape and tons of glass. The company has also shown off the Space-Hub concept, which is more like a proper van.

This morning at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Honda as offered the public a glimpse into its future as an all-electric brand, unveiling two EV concepts as part of its new “0 Series” of passenger vehicles that will be sold globally. That will begin with a bespoke Honda model evolving from the Saloon concept you can see below.

Honda’s radical new Saloon concept, which serves to preview a line of revolutionary new EVs dubbed the 0 Series, is 90% ready for production in 2026. The larger Space Hub concept has not been confirmed for production; a smaller, similarly conceived SUV is inbound as part of the 0 Series, however, which follows similar principles.

Honda’s Saloon and Space-Hub vehicles are the first pieces of a wider introduction of the Honda 0 Series , which is based on the Saloon concept in North America. It will present these vehicles in Japan, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America, as well. I’d love to hear from you!

It’s expected the digital screen will update owners on the sedan’s charging status and perhaps even communicate to other road users. Honda hasn’t released any powertrain details other than saying its batteries will be compatible with ultra-fast charging that will see a 15-80 per cent top up take between 10-15 minutes.
