According to those in the know at Automotive News , Ford is slashing the required dealer training on electron eaters in half, while also cutting the number of EV chargers a retailer must install. Dealers apparently argued that slow Level 2 chargers were more than sufficient to keep new EVs full of juice for test drives.&

Since it was not a Level 2 charger, I knew it would not gain much juice overnight. It was almost an hour before the inconsiderate owner returned to retrieve his fully charged car, but at least he was apologetic. In just the past couple of months I’ve seen a bank of Electrify America chargers installed in my local bank parking lot.
