The cost of lithium ion batteries…needs to be reduced significantly…or a more affordable alternative developed.

That’s certainly the case here in Torrance, California where I live and work. We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. It’s much tougher to raise the level of funding necessary and get the interest rates below the 7%-9% range.
